Bring the Columns Down

LOL. So, the one British pronunciation/slang/turn of phrase that I assimilated and use without thinking about it is pronouncing the “h” when I say “herbs”.

AND DO YOU KNOW WHY THAT IS? It’s because I used to go to Subway ALL the time on the weekends when I was feeling lazy because it was the nearest food place to my flat, and I’d get my sandwiches on “Italian herbs and cheese” bread. SO YEAH. I got used to pronouncing the “h” because the people who worked the counter looked at me weird when I said “herbs” in the American style.

LOL @ ME.
